A herniated disc is a common injury that causes severe pain and can make everyday activities become more difficult and even intolerable. A herniated disc occurs when the soft, cushion-y tissue that typically resides between two spinal vertebras gets pushed out of place. Herniated disc’s can cause neurological issues, muscle weakness, radiating pain, and numbness and tingling in the extremities. Chiropractors treat herniated discs through different modalities and techniques that decrease pain and restore strength. In this video, Dr. Joseph D’Angiolillo, an ANJC Chiropractic Physician, joins Dr. Donald DeFabio to talk about how chiropractic care can help relieve serious symptoms that can be caused by herniated discs.
